The texts are provided "as-is." Users are strictly encouraged to consult certified scholars and verified physical manuscripts for definitive theological and jurisprudential rulings.
3. Intellectual Property
The layout, design, specific codebase, and branding of the Noor Al-Huda platform are the intellectual property of its creators. However, the religious texts (Quran, Hadiths) belong to the public domain or are used under open licenses from their respective API providers (e.g., Quran.com). You are free to share and copy the texts for personal and educational use as facilitated by the application's built-in sharing features.
4. Jurisdictional Notice & IT Act 2000 (India)
These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, including the Information Technology Act, 2000, and any rules made thereunder. By using this service, you agree that any dispute arising out of or in connection with this platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India. Noor Al-Huda acts as an "Intermediary" under Section 2(w) of the Information Technology Act, 2000, providing access to third-party content (APIs), and claims safe harbor protections under Section 79 of the IT Act against liability for third-party data or information hosted on or accessed through the platform.
5. Modification of Service
We reserve the right at any time to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the Service (or any part thereof) with or without notice. We shall not be liable to you or to any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuance of the Service.
